Top 3 Natural Kidney Cleansers And Detox Methods
Updated: Mar 9
Kidney disease and renal failure have increasingly common problems. In fact, an estimated 14% of the population suffers from Kidney disease. With our fast paced modern lifestyles becoming increasingly busy, stress on the renal system coupled with poor nutritional choices, can cause your kidney function to become substantially diminished. Here are 3 amazing natural remedies to help clean out you kidneys and restore optimum renal function.
Just before we begin our list, it is important to note that the vast majority of kidney based issues come from bad lifestyle choices or existing disease. For example, diabetes - be it genetic or from poor lifestyle - is one of the leading causes of kidney disease. If this is the case, then treatment for the primary disease will result in a substantial increase in kidney health and would be the best route to take as a treatment option. With that in mind, let's get to our list!
Number 1: Green Bean Juice
Green bean juice is one of my absolute favorite methods for detoxing the kidneys! It is one of the most effective methods I've found, and it takes very little effort to prepare. The detox method only lasts for one morning, and thus it doesn't require much of your time either. So set a morning aside for this one and let's get going!
Here's what you will need to do:
Start your day by drinking parsley tea and water. No other liquids besides these are allowed on the morning you decide to do the detox. If you need to eat something first thing in the morning, you may eat green apples.
Boil 2 kilograms of fresh green beans in 3.2 liters of water until your green beans are cooked.
Remove green beans from water and allow the water you cooked them in to cool down.
The water you cooked your green beans in is now what you are going to use to detox the kidneys.
Drink one glass of the green bean juice every 30 minutes until the tea is finished.
After this you can have a light salad or fruit salad.
It's that simple!
Number 2: Okra Water
Okra water is a great option for detoxing the kidneys. Okra is very high in essential vitamins and minerals and is fantastic at improving kidney health and preventing disease in the kidneys. Here's what you'll need to do:
Pierce each of the pods' sides with a knife, then place the pods in a large mason jar and cover with water.
Soak the pods overnight, or for at least eight hours (up to 24 hours).
In the morning, squeeze the pods into the water to release any leftover sap. Throw the pods away and drink the water throughout the day.
Number 3: Parsley tea
Parsley tea is a natural diuretic that balances the body's potassium levels and helps filter water through the kidneys. Parsley also helps maintain blood sugar balance! This takes loads of pressure off the kidneys.
Parsley tea is more of a sustainable detox, rather than a singular intensive detox like the green bean or okra detox. Just getting into the habit of having some parsley tea every day will give your kidneys the support they need in order to function optimally.
To prepare the perfect cup of parsley tea, simply add boiling water to fresh parsley placed in a cup. Leave to draw for 10 minutes and you're all set to go!
Remember, living a healthy lifestyle and having healthy habits will go a long way in preventing most chronic conditions. This, coupled with natural, holistic health care will ensure that you give your body everything it needs to be healthy.
